Kistler® Screw Test Bench

Using our Kistler® screw testing bench, we analyze precisely what ultimately determines the quality and safety of our screw connections: their tightening behavior.

We evaluate precise torque-angle curves and simulate a wide variety of tightening processes, ranging from classic torque tightening to yield-controlled tightening on customer components and dummy joints.

But what actually happens during this process?
As the screw is tightened, highly sensitive sensors precisely measure how torque and angle change. This allows us to determine how a joint behaves under real-world conditions and to optimize processes in a targeted manner.
