Alumentary: How Sustainable Is Aluminum?

At ESKA, we manufacture our own high-strength Aludrive® aluminum screws. This gives us control not only over the processes and quality but also over the responsible use of aluminum as a material.

Aluminum offers many advantages. A major one is its recyclability. Aluminum can be melted down and processed into new components time and again without any significant loss of quality.

High-strength aluminum alloys not only enable weight-optimized designs but also help reduce emissions by lowering component weight.

Another point—and a side note: The concept of sustainability traces back to Hans Carl von Carlowitz, whose family lived at Rabenstein Castle. Thus, the concept of sustainability is also important to us because of this location.

For us, this means: consciously selecting materials, taking material cycles into account, reducing CO₂ emissions, and combining technical performance with environmental responsibility.
