A day full of two-wheeled passion awaits you on 14.09.2025!
The event starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Museum für sächsische Fahrzeuge e.V., Zwickauer Straße 77, 09112 Chemnitz. There you can talk to mechanics, look at mopeds and meet like-minded people – everything to do with two-strokes.
The event starts at 13:00 on the ESKA grounds, Lutherstraße 87,
09126 Chemnitz, with awards, moped limbo, factory tours & more!
You can decide for yourself how to get there. However, to ensure that no one gets lost, we recommend the following route:
Starting point:
Zwickauer Straße 77, Chemnitzer Fahrzeugmuseum, continue from here:
- Turn right onto Reichsstraße
- Turn left into Gustav-Freytag-Straße
- Then turn right onto Reichenhainer Straße
- Pass the Südbahnhof railway station and continue straight ahead
- At the traffic circle: take the 2nd exit
- Then onto Fraunhoferstraße
And finally turn left into Lutherstraße 87 onto the EKSA company premises!

First things first. You can enter the ESKA site via the Entrance on the Lutherstraße. From the parking lot on Reichenhainer Straße, all you have to do is turn left and you’ve reached your destination.

The Simson and MZ meet is approaching fast and the excitement is rising. To give you an idea of what to expect on this day filled with two-stroke passion, motorcycles, and fascinating technology, we are publishing our program today. And there is going to be something for everyone.
- Free moped test bench
Test the performance of your moped live and free of charge—right on site!
- Stage with presenter & interviews
Throughout the entire event, the Simson and MZ meet is fast approaching and the excitement is building. To give you an idea of what to expect on this day full of two-stroke love, motorcycles, and fascinating technology, we are presenting our program today. And this much can be said: there is something for everyone.
- Photo booth for people & machines
Memories are best captured. Take a photo with friends or your moped in front of a background of your choice and take your photo with you – printed or digital.
- Factory tours – a look behind the scenes
At fixed times between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., we will show you how our parts are made. The highlight: a specially signed screw as a key ring to take home with you!
- ESKA merch
From bags and notebooks to screw sets and stickers – take your ESKA goodie home with you! Tip: Bring enough cash.
- Food & Drinks
Of course, we’ll also take care of your physical well-being – so come by, have fun, and chat with us!

Moped award
At the Simson & MZ meetup on September 14 in Chemnitz, you will not only have the opportunity to chat with like-minded two-stroke fans, but also to have your favorite bike honored. Once again, we will be recognizing the most beautiful, exciting, and extraordinary mopeds.
Main categories:
- Original for mopeds with a classic, authentic look
- Rat for character machines with patina and charm
- Renovation for creative, individual conversions
Extra categories:
- Oldest moped
- Longest journey
- Audience award: vote for your favorite moped here!
The voting lists and the ballot box for the audience award can be found right next to our stage. Simply indicate the license plate number and the assigned number on the ballot.
The evaluation will be carried out by a jury consisting of representatives from the vehicle museum, the clubs represented, and DS Lackierungen—a combination of expertise and a passion for two-stroke engines.
Prices
All first-place winners will receive trophies. In addition, all winners of the other places will receive goodie bags from AKF filled with useful items for every moped garage.
So it’s definitely worth taking part!
