For our various production areas, we’re looking for a Machine Set-up Technician (m/f/d) who can reliably set up, operate, and monitor our equipment.

First things first:

Starting salary between €33,000 and €35,000 gross per year
Christmas bonus: ½ gross monthly salary
38-hour workweek
30-minute paid break daily
30 days of vacation
Overtime pay for night shifts (up to 50%), overtime, and Sunday work
Work location is Chemnitz; no field work, no assembly

What you bring to the table:

Apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, machining mechanic (m/f/d), or equivalent
Professional experience in setting up and operating production equipment
Technical understanding and manual dexterity
Strong commitment to quality
Very good German language skills and a valid work permit for Germany
Willingness to work in a three-shift system

Your duties and areas of responsibility:

Set up, operate, and monitor machines: multi-stage presses OR CNC lathes and grinders OR heat treatment systems OR testing and sorting machines
Prepare and provide the materials, tools, and equipment required for the respective production area
Check product quality according to the inspection plan
Check equipment for proper function, clean, and maintain it
Document work orders and entries
